NBA 2K27 began releasing ratings for this year's game on Monday night, and we have some information about how the Timberwolves will be rated. They will have five top-100 players at release date, and here's what you need to know.

Superstar shooting guard Anthony Edwards will be a 96 overall, which makes him the seventh-highest-rated player in the game. He began last season as the fifth-highest-rated player behind Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic, but Victor Wembanyama and Jaylen Brunson have since jumped him.

The Wolves' second-highest-rated player is LaMelo Ball at 88 overall, which makes him the 32nd-best player in the game. Notably behind players like Trae Young, Damian Lillard and Jamal Murray, you can make an argument that Ball deserves to be higher.

Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert are both 85 overalls, but Gobert is the 62nd-best player in the game and McDaniels is the 66th-best. Lastly, Ayo Dosunmu is Minnesota's final player in the top 100 with an 81 overall, which ranks him as the 95th-best player in the game.

To round out Minnesota's roster, Donte DiVencenzo has an 80 overall, Terrence Shannon Jr. is a 77, Bones Hyland is a 76, Josh Green is a 75, Trey Lyles is a 74, Jaylen Clark is a 73, Joan Beringer is a 72, Enrique Freeman is a 68, Rocco Zikarsky is a 68 and Zyon Pullin is a 67. Ratings for Isaiah Evans or Trey Kaufman-Renn have not yet been revealed.

Overall, there weren't many big surprises in this year's ratings. The Timberwolves will have a lot to prove this season with a new-look roster after last year's playoff exit in the second round against the San Antonio Spurs.
