Khris Middleton Has Quietly Built A Historic Career

The former second-round draft pick is the first G-League alum to become an All-Star.

Speaking of being an All-Star, Middleton has been named one three times.

Oh, and he’s also earned an Olympic gold medal and won the NBA Finals with his Bucks.

He’s a quiet guy who doesn’t desire the limelight or fame that others do but he’s also a legit threat on the floor.

When people talk about the Bucks, they almost always speak of Giannis Antetokounmpo.

There is good reason for that: Antetokounmpo is a once-in-a-generation talent unlike practically anyone else in the league.

But he will be the first one to say that he needs his teammates, especially Middleton.

During the 2021-22 season, Middleton achieved an average of 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.

The problem was that an injury slowed him down a lot last season and he ended up sitting out on the last part of his team’s playoff run.

Of course, the Bucks were then taken down by the Celtics and there were many people who said they could have overtaken Boston if Middleton was still healthy.

That’s the plan for the upcoming season: Milwaukee is hoping to once again make the Finals, with a healthy Middleton playing a major part of the rotation.
