The Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors will go head-to-head on Tuesday night. Both teams are dealing with injuries heading into the game, however. DeMar DeRozan is currently dealing with right hamstring soreness, and he is listed as questionable to play according to the NBA injury report.
Overall, the Kings are battling no shortage of injury trouble. Russell Westbrook (right toe injury management), Domantas Sabonis (left knee meniscus repair), Keegan Murray (left ankle sprain), Zach LaVine (right 5th finger tendon repair), De'Andre Hunter (left eye retinal repair) and Drew Eubanks (left thumb UCL repair) are out due to injuries. Meanwhile, Patrick Baldwin Jr. (G League two-way) and Isaiah Stevens (G League two-way) are out as well.
DeRozan is the only Kings player listed on the injury report who has not been ruled out as of this story's writing. Updates on his status will be made available ahead of tip-off.
As mentioned, injury concerns have been a problem for the Kings throughout the 2025-26 season. DeMar DeRozan, however, has managed to stay on the floor. He has appeared in 77 games heading into Tuesday's clash.
The veteran forward is averaging 18.4 points, 4.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals per outing. He is also shooting 49.7 percent from the field and 32 percent from beyond the arc. DeRozan is once again having a strong overall season.
DeRozan's ability to stay on the floor throughout the years has been extremely impressive. Many players in today's game often miss time due to various injuries, but DeRozan has appeared in at least 74 games in each season since the 2021-22 campaign. In his NBA career, DeRozan has appeared in at least 60 games in each of the seasons he has played.
At 36 years old, DeRozan is not displaying any signs of slowing down with his 77 contests already played this year. He is also still performing at a respectable level despite his team's overall underperformance.
For now, it remains to be seen if he will be on the floor on Tuesday night. The 21-58 Kings will certainly need DeMar DeRozan to be available if they want to upset the 36-42 Warriors. Golden State has not had the best season, but Sacramento is tied for last place in the Western Conference heading into the matchup.
DeRozan's status will be important for the game without question.
