The Sacramento Kings return home from their six-game road trip on Wednesday as they face off against the Denver Nuggets.
Sacramento had a slow start to their road trip as they dropped their first four games but they were able to turn things around by the end of it, winning their last three contests including one against the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers.
They will now look to extend their winning streak to four games on Wednesday against a struggling Nuggets team that is fresh off firing their head coach and general manager on Tuesday.
Ahead of Wednesday’s game, the Kings made a key roster decision as ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Sacramento had signed Terence Davis to a deal.
The Sacramento Kings are signing guard Terence Davis to a deal, sources tell ESPN. Davis, who played parts of three years in Sacramento from 2021-23, averaged 14.3 points on 40.2% 3-point shooting for the NBA G League's Wisconsin team this season.

Of course, Davis spent three seasons with the Kings from the 2020-21 season to the 2022-23 season after he was traded to Sacramento by the Toronto Raptors in 2021.
During his three years in Sacramento, the 27-year-old guard averaged 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 42.8% from the field and 35.8% from three-point range over 121 games.
Davis has not played at the NBA level since the 2022-23 season but he has played well for the Wisconsin Herd of the G League this season.

In the G League, Davis is averaging 14.3 points per game while shooting 40.2% from beyond the arc.
Davis will now join a Kings team that is in desperate need of backcourt depth after they traded away their star point guard De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs at the trade deadline.
Of course, the Kings have used the same backcourt rotation of Malik Monk, Keon Ellis, Devin Carter and Markelle Fultz since trading Fox and now Davis will be added to the mix where he may pick up some minutes right off the bat in Sacramento.
