The Kings have waived two-way player Adam Flagler, the team announced in a press release (Twitter link via Kings insider James Ham).
Flagler signed his two-way contract with Sacramento in July. The 26-year-old appeared in seven combined Summer League games (16.8 minutes per contest) with the Kings later that month but struggled with efficiency in a small sample size, averaging 6.3 points, 2.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 0.9 steals on .319/.190/.714 shooting splits.
Flagler made two brief appearances with the Kings during the preseason, averaging just 4.6 MPG.
A college star at Baylor who helped the Bears win an NCAA championship in 2021, Flagler spent part of 2023/24 and all of ’24/25 on a two-way deal with the Thunder.
A 6’1″ guard, Flagler signed an Exhibit 10 deal with San Antonio last fall and spent the 2025/26 campaign in the G League with the Austin Spurs. In 17 games, he averaged 14.5 points, 4.9 assists (1.4 turnovers), 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals on .423/.340/.720 shooting splits.
The Kings now have one two-way opening. Their other two-way spots are held by Jonathan Mogbo, who played well during the preseason, and Leaky Black, who was recently converted from an Exhibit 10 contract.
