Kings Signing PJ Dozier to Second 10-Day Contract
Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

The Kings are signing guard/forward PJ Dozier to a second 10-day contract, agent Kevin Bradbury told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Dozier, 26, has appeared in three games and scored three points since signing his first 10-day deal on Jan. 9.

Prior to signing with Sacramento, he had been playing for the Iowa Wolves of the G League, after attending training camp with the Timberwolves. With Iowa, he averaged 14.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in 13 games.

Last season, he appeared in 18 games with the Nuggets before being sidelined with a knee injury. Former Nuggets assistant Jordi Fernandez is now an assistant with Mike Brown and the Kings.

Dozier averaged 7.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in his last healthy NBA season, appearing in 50 games with Denver in 2020-21. He has also made stops with the Celtics and Thunder.

The Kings (25-18) are coming off a road win over the Lakers and are aiming for their first playoff appearance since 2006.
