Playing in back-to-back games is supposed to be a disadvantage for NBA players. For De'Aaron Fox, it only makes him stronger.

One night after scoring a franchise-record 60 points in a 130-126 overtime loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Fox returned with 49 points on Saturday as the Sacramento Kings beat the Utah Jazz 121-117. He joins Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant as the only players in history to put up as many as 109 points in consecutive games.
Not only did Fox do it 24 hours after playing 44 minutes and taking 35 shots Friday night, but he did it without his star teammates. DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis sat against the Jazz, leaving Fox to shoulder the offensive load. And shoulder it he did, adding nine assists to his lofty point total.
These were high-quality assists as well. Six of Fox's dimes went for three-pointers. Two led to dunks, and the other turned into a layup. With his shooting and passing, Fox was involved in 73 of Sacramento's 121 points, over 60 percent of its buckets.
Fox simply couldn't be stopped, even by his footwear. In the first quarter, Fox lost his shoe as he stole the ball from Utah's Keyonte George. Without losing his dribble, Fox managed to put the shoe back on, then drove down and scored on the other end.

Fox is so hot right now that he doesn't need rest. Or teammates. Or even shoes.
