Klay Thompson’s Romance With Megan Thee Stallion Gets a Strong Seal of Approval

The Dallas Mavericks’ star Klay Thompson might be having a career-low season. But one thing that should be making him happy is his relationship with Megan Thee Stallion. While the duo’s high-profile romance has been taking the NBA realm by storm, things just got better with Thompson’s dad giving the seal of approval.

Mychal Thompson was recently asked by TMZ Sports about his son’s girlfriend. Hailing her as the best cook, Thompson Sr. had nothing but praise for Megan Thee Stallion. In a video that went viral, the Mavericks’ star’s father praised meeting and spending time with the Grammy-winning rapper.

“Very nice neighbor. She can cook for us. She made some baked beans … best I’ve ever had in my life. Made a brisket the other night with some special sauce that she cooked up. She can open up a cooking school. She can be a chef. She’s one of the best cooks… Megan is a chef. She’s talented,” said Mychal Thompson.

Next up, the reporters asked Mychal when the duo planned to tie the knot. Not wanting to comment on the matter, the NBA star’s dad pointed out that this was a decision for the couple to make. Meanwhile, as Thompson donned a new jersey, Stephen Curry recently spoke about how he missed him.

The Christmas Day game last year became pretty much significant for the Golden State Warriors. After Dallas traded Thompson, facing him as a Warriors opponent left players like Curry emotional.

“I wish he was still here…It would be unbelievable. If that time comes and that conversation is had, of course I’m calling him and saying, ‘We want you back.’ And hopefully that would be a welcome message to him. But as we stand right now, that does seem like a far distant reality. But so did him leaving,” Curry said (via Anthony Slater).
