The New York Knicks will evaluate former 2019 No. 6 overall pick Jarrett Culver at their offseason free agent camp on Monday, June 10. SNY’s Ian Begley broke the news on X on Sunday afternoon (h/t Collin Loring of Heavy Sports):
Jarrett Culver will be among the players at a free agent camp with the Knicks tomorrow. Culver hit 38 percent of his threes (6 per game) with Rio Grande Valley in the G League last season https://t.co/DWEHftAd0b

Culver has shown flashes in his four-year NBA career but hasn’t had the opportunities to put it all together. The Virginia product has very good intangibles, defensive instincts, and athleticism.
Though he’s yet to shoot better than 29.9 percent from three-point range or 41.1 percent from the field in any given season, his 0.7 steals per game in only 17.2 minutes of action for his career is a stellar marker. When contextualized next to one of the game’s best pickpocket artists in Knicks forward OG Anunoby, Culver’s 2.1 percent steals percentage almost rivals Anunoby’s 2.5 percent average from 2023-24.
Culver’s improved shooting in the G League has elevated his profile, making his game more conducive for the three-point-heavy offensive style of play of today’s NBA. The Knicks could use a lengthy forward who can play well on both ends, especially if Anunoby walks in the offseason.
The 25-year-old will get his chance to show out and earn the favor of the Knicks’ coaching staff on Monday.
