Coming off an NBA Championship, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson will now be focused on rehab this summer.
Brunson underwent surgery on his left wrist Tuesday to address an injury he dealt with throughout the Knicks’ championship run according to ESPN. He will be expected to return to basketball activities this summer.
The former Villanova star averaged 32.6 points, 4.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds during the team’s five game run through the San Antonio Spurs which was good enough for him to win finals MVP.
Despite the recovery time, New York is still in basketball heaven celebrating its first championship in 53 years and will be looking forward to having Brunson lead the franchise for years to come.
