Knicks' Julius Randle calls his shot with trip to Vegas on the line

While facing the Milwaukee Bucks as a whole, specifically star duo Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard on the road will prove to be a tall task for the New York Knicks, they don't seem to be lacking in the confidence department.

The Knicks will take on the Bucks after both teams advanced from their group, with New York earning a wild-card spot.

When discussing the trip to Milwaukee for Tuesday's game, Randle offered a candid update on his planning to show how he's feeling about it, according to Peter Botte of the New York Post.

“I packed for Vegas,” the All-Star forward declared after practice Monday in Tarrytown.

As the Knicks are set to face the Bucks with the trip to Las Vegas and a potential place in the semifinals on the line, Randle gave some insight into how the team is feeling and approaching it all.

“We’re excited. We look at it as a great opportunity to come out and play and compete against the best and compete for something. I think every guy in the locker room is excited,” Randle said, per Botte. “It feels good. We get to see how we stack up against one of the best teams in the league."

The Bucks were unbeaten in group play with a substantial +46 point differential. But while the Knicks lost their first game of the NBA in-season tournament to Giannis and company, they reeled off three-straight victories and were nearly as impressive with a +42 point differential.

The winner of this game will head to Vegas with the Indiana Pacers, who defeated the Boston Celtics on Monday. The New Orleans Pelicans also advanced following a victory over the Sacramento Kings. The winner of the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns game Tuesday night will make a trip to Vegas, as well.
