After Tuesday's Game 4 loss to the Pacers dropped the Knicks to a 3-1 deficit in the Eastern Conference finals, Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns did not much want to discuss the knee injury that he suffered in a collision with Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith late in the game.

Towns winced in pain on the ground for a bit after the injury, but did get up and was able to play again late in the game. Coach Tom Thibodeau said he felt that was, at least, an encouraging sign.

Shrugging off the injury, Towns told reporters that his focus was trying to get the Knicks to do the near-impossible--come back from a 3-1 playoff deficit, a feat that has only been accomplished 13 times in league history. Teams with a 3-1 lead have won 95.6% of their series.

"We've been a team that has kind of found a way to do the impossible when it always seemed impossible," Towns said in his press conference. "We just keep fighting. It's gonna be a testament to our whole playoff run. Now we have to be in one of the biggest fights of our lives and of our season."

First, though, Towns will need to fight through the knee injury which is a bigger concern than he let on. The Knicks are required by the league each night to file their injury report with the NBA ahead of the game, and on Wednesday, they had Towns listed as "questionable" for Game 5.

"Left Knee; Contusion," the report says.

According to NBA protocol, a player listed as "questionable" on the injury report has a 50% chance of playing.

Game 5 will be played at Madison Square Garden, with tip-off at 8 p.m. ET.
