Toppin was injured in the Knicks' season opener against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. He notched nine points, three rebounds, one assist and two blocks in a 121-107 loss.
The Knicks selected Toppin with the eighth pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. The Brooklyn native played college basketball at Dayton and played for multiple teams in high school.
New York is 0-2 on the season and doesn't have much of a chance to get its first win of the season against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
