Take Julius Randle, for example: he ended the evening with 25 points and 16 rebounds.

However, when you really dig into the numbers you see that Randle was quite sloppy from the field.

In fact, he became just the second NBA player in history to attempt 9 or more three-pointers in a half without making a single one.

When the final buzzer sounded, Randle was good for just 1 of his 12 three-point attempts.

That led to a downright devastating three-point percentage and really held his team back.

Fans did not like seeing Randle quite literally drop the ball, especially because he has been quite good this season.

Randle has been averaging 24.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this season on 45.6% from the field and 34% from the three-point line.

He is typically making 2.7 of his 7.8 three-point attempts every night.

That makes his Monday night showing even more dreadful.

Randle and the rest of his team are hoping that they will bounce back from Monday night quickly.

Next up for them are the Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards, Detroit Pistons, and Toronto Raptors.

You would think that they could pull out a few wins among those competitions but that will only happen if Brunson isn’t the only one playing super well.

Randle will need to shake Monday night off and find his shooting skill again.
