Knicks waive veteran G Bruce Brown

The New York Knicks waived guard Bruce Brown on Saturday.

The veteran wing appeared in all 82 games for the Denver Nuggets last season, averaging 7.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 38.5% from 3-point range.

The 30-year-old is best known for his contributions to the Nuggets' championship team in the 2022-23 season. He has had stints with the Detroit Pistons (2018-20), Brooklyn Nets (2020-22), Nuggets (2022-23, 2025-26), Indiana Pacers (2023-24), Toronto Raptors (2024-25), and New Orleans Pelicans (2025).

Brown signed an Exhibit 9 contract with the Knicks in September. He was waived as part of a final roster crunch. Notably, former No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman made the roster. The 25-year-old center also signed an Exhibit 9 deal in September.
