Five-star safety Jett Washington plans to visit two more major college football programs this summer after updating his schedule on Tuesday.

Washington (6-foot-5, 200 pounds) is a standout football and basketball player at high school powerhouse Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas.

He earned MaxPreps Nevada Player of the Year and a MaxPreps Junior All-America honors in 2024. Washington racked up 38 tackles, five interceptions, two pass breakups and a forced fumble as Bishop Gorman took home its fourth-straight Nevada Class 5A state championship.

Washington is the nephew of late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, an 18-time NBA All-Star, five-time NBA Champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist. Washington's mother, Sharia Washington, is Bryant's older sister.

Alabama and Oregon previously scheduled official visits with Washington before he added two more to his schedule on Tuesday, including Ohio State and USC.

Head coach Kalen DeBoer's Crimson Tide will get the first crack at Washington this weekend before he takes official trips to Lincoln Riley's Trojans (June 3), Ryan Day's Buckeyes (June 6) and Dan Lanning's Ducks (June 13), per On3.

Washington ranks as the No. 1 safety, the No. 1 player in the state of Nevada and No. 22 recruit overall in the 2026 class, per ESPN

It's no surprise to see some of the top programs in the country vying for a commitment from Washington, whose athleticism in a lengthy frame is difficult to ignore.

Alabama, Ohio State and Oregon each hauled in top-10 recruiting classes in the 2025 cycle. And USC is in position to contend for the top class in 2026, per On3's rankings
