Kyrie Irving Causes Kid's Nosebleed After Bad Pass in Mavs-Celtics

Kyrie Irving had a big game for the Dallas Mavericks in a losing effort against the Boston Celtics, finishing with a team-high 22 points along with four rebounds, five assists and a block. However, he did have a lowlight that grabbed fans' attention.

The Mavs guard only had three turnovers in the 122-107 loss, but one of them was a pretty bad one. Midway through the second quarter while trying to set up a play for Dallas, Irving tried to pass the ball to Jaden Hardy. The problem was that the pass was off-target and too high.

Instead of landing on Hardy's hands, the ball went out of bounds and hit a kid sitting courtside on the head.

Making matters worse, the kid was shown having a nosebleed. Irving, as well as Celtics players Derrick White and Jaylen Brown, quickly checked on the young fan before a Mavs staffer attended to the kid.

It's unknown what happened to the kid after the incident, though some fans expressed hope that he gets some sort of a treat or compensation from Kyrie Irving or the team to make up for it.

"That kids getting some Kyrie merch," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Bloody nose…probably worth it to hang with the stars for a second."

A social media user shared, "That kid better get some free courtside tickets." A fourth follower suggested, "This kid better get a signed ball or something lol."

"That’s a free signed Kyrie jersey and a picture," a poster further stated.

Regardless of what happens next, though, here's to hoping that the kid didn't sustain any other injuries.
