Kyrie Irving's impending exit will surely leave the locker room in a bit of a daze.

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski highlighted the biggest challenge Kyrie Irving would face after he asked out of Brooklyn days before the trade deadline.

While Irving's next landing spot is up in the air with multiple franchises making a beeline for the guard, Wojnarowski focused on the mood in the locker room after his bombshell announcement.

Per Talkin' NBA, the analyst said it would be difficult for the 30-year-old to face his team, especially after their recent struggles, although he was in prime form.

"I think its difficult now for Kyrie Irving to walk back in this locker room between now and trade deadline and just go back to work. I'm told that he's been good around this team lately. Everybody was optimistic... but that all changes today."

The Nets will look to keep the side competitive, especially with Kevin Durant still yet to return from the MCL sprain he sustained in January. In his absence, it was Irving's stellar performances that garnered attention, and now his impending exit will surely leave the locker room in a bit of a daze.

Kyrie Irving Set To Miss The Nets Clash Against The Washington Wizards

Amid all the chatter surrounding his future, Kyrie Irving will miss the team's clash against the Washington Wizards. The Athletic's Shams Charania reported that he would not suit up and that had fans speculating if a trade move had already been pulled.

The Los Angeles Lakers are looked at as the next destination for Irving. While it was also reported that the side was reluctant to make a move when looking at his ask for a long-term contract with around $200 million, his relationship with LeBron James and his desire to reunite with him has been seen as the main reasons why he would be a Laker.

Should Irving head to LA, his arrival makes the Lakers bonafide title contenders. They are yet to be in the playoff contention, but there's no doubt that all of it will change if they rope in the guard.
