With NBA Summer League over, teams are beginning to fill out gaps on their rosters.
The LA Lakers have moved to sign one of the Golden State Warriors‘ standout players in Summer League.
Undrafted rookie Chris Manon impressed in Las Vegas, and was particularly impressive in a matchup against the Cavaliers.
A strong all-round performance saw Manon score 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists, plus 4 steals and 2 blocks.
Shams Charania reports Chris Manon is set to sign a two-way contract with the LA Lakers.
He posted: “The Los Angeles Lakers plan to sign 7-footer Christian Koloko and forward Chris Manon on two-way NBA contracts.”
The Los Angeles Lakers plan to sign 7-footer Christian Koloko and forward Chris Manon on two-way NBA contracts, sources tell ESPN. Manon, undrafted out of Vanderbilt, played for the Warriors in California and Las Vegas summer leagues. Koloko played 37 games for L.A. last season.

Chris Manon is a guard who played college at Vanderbilt. He averaged 9.0 points at Summer League, getting stronger as the competition went on.
Manon played against the Lakers, contributing another all-round performance, posting 8 points, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.
He is seen above making a block on Lakers sophomore Dalton Knecht, who struggled during Summer League.
Ahead of the tournament in Vegas, Warriors coach Lainn Wilson expressed confidence in Chris Manon’s abilities.
Wilson was quoted via SI: “He’s a game changer. He can just impact the game in so many other ways and kind of be a spark where he’s causing live-ball turnovers on the open floor, and that turns into automatic transition buckets for us.
“That can really help you flip that game.”
The Lakers saw enough to make them want to bring Manon in for a closer look, and this feels like a missed opportunity for the Warriors, who have a small roster right now.
Christian Koloko has also earned his return after making progress last season. He also managed to impress during Summer League.
