The Los Angeles Lakers are thriving this season with an 11-4 record, sitting fourth in the Western Conference.
Their summer-built depth looks strong as new players adapted seamlessly into important roles.
Superstar Luka Doncic continues producing MVP-caliber numbers, while Austin Reaves’ magnificent play could earn All-Star selection.
LeBron James has returned, logging 30 minutes in his season debut during a 140-126 victory over Utah.
However, if JJ Redick needs additional depth, he should examine the South Bay Lakers G League affiliate.
Forward Drew Timme has been exceptional, averaging 30.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.

Timme recently won NBA G League Player of the Week for games from November 7-16.
While the LA Lakers have sufficient forwards, if Bronny James can crack the rotation, any G League standout deserves consideration.
Timme has NBA experience from last season with the Brooklyn Nets, appearing in nine games averaging 28.2 minutes.
His production in that small sample wasn’t disappointing, as the 25-year-old averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
The Lakers might summon Timme if injuries strike, as South Bay has a proven track record promoting notable NBA players.
Alex Caruso developed significantly there, while Talen Horton-Tucker and Ivica Zubac also spent developmental time with the affiliate before becoming rotation contributors.
