Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is averaging 24.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and a team-high 9 assists in his 22nd NBA season.

With the Lakers' acquisition of Luka Doncic during the trade deadline, James has a new co-star. James, with the help of recently traded star Anthony Davis, has helped lead the Lakers to a 31-19 record under first-year head coach JJ Redick. The Lakers enter Monday in the fifth spot in the Western Conference with a 31-19 record.

The Lakers host the Utah Jazz on Monday on the back of a convincing win against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. Despite being shorthanded, with James and Doncic ruled out of that game due to injury, the Lakers were able to defeat the Pacers 124-117 thanks to a career night from guard Austin Reaves (45 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists).

Los Angeles will hope to make it six wins in a row when it hosts Utah at Crypto.com Arena. It is looking like the Lakers will welcome James back to the lineup as they attempt to do so.

The Lakers announced Sunday that James was questionable for Monday's game due to left ankle soreness. That said, he has since been upgraded to probable.

Doncic has also been upgraded, meaning he is expected to make his Lakers debut.

James last featured on the court in the Lakers’ home win against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, where he dropped 42 points and 17 rebounds.

James, who turned 40 in December, has continued to defy Father Time. He was named to his NBA-record 21st All-Star Game earlier this month, and the four-time MVP has missed just four games this season.
