Luka Doncic looked great on Wednesday night as he led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 137-130 road win over the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Doncic turned in another awe-inspiring performance with a game-high 43 points on 15-of-30 shooting. The six-time All-Star also added six rebounds, seven assists, a steal and four three-pointers in 38 minutes of action.

The Lakers improved to 47-26 after taking down the Pacers. They remain third in the Western Conference and, as of writing, are 1.5 games ahead of the fourth-seeded Denver Nuggets.

The Lakers are back in action on Friday in a home game against the Brooklyn Nets. The bad news, however, is that Doncic is in danger of missing the game.

Doncic has been nothing short of spectacular in his first full season in L.A. In 61 games played thus far, the 26-year-old is averaging a league-best 33.6 points on 47.4% shooting, 7.8 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.6 steals in 35.9 minutes per contest. Doncic is also connecting on 4.0 triples per game.

The Lakers submitted their injury report for the Nets game, and there is some unwanted news on the Doncic front. The five-time All-NBA guard is currently dealing with a sore left hamstring and is officially listed as questionable to play.

Doncic’s injury does not seem significant. However, it is serious enough to potentially force him to miss Friday’s matchup against the Nets. If Doncic is out, LeBron James and Austin Reaves will need to step up to fill the void.

Rui Hachimura (calf) is in danger of missing another game after also being listed as questionable to play. Marcus Smart (ankle), on the other hand, remains out for the Lakers.

L.A. should make a decision on Doncic’s final status closer to tip-off.
