The Los Angeles Lakers are on an eight-game winning streak right now. Unsurprisingly, there is a lot of positivity around the organization at the moment, who have exceeded a lot of expectations this season.
The Lakers will be hoping to carry on this momentum when they take on the Orlando Magic next.
The Magic are on a three-game losing run themselves and will be looking to end that as soon as possible, ideally against the Lakers this evening.
There is some good news for the Lakers going into the game. Austin Reaves had initially been listed as questionable for the matchup against the Magic due to left hip soreness.
Now, the Lakers have officially upgraded his status as available on their injury report against the Magic, which will come as a boost for them.
Of course, Reaves is one of the Lakers' most important players. This season, he has averaged 23.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in 34.4 minutes of action per game. He also averages more than a steal in every match.
As far as the third option on teams goes, it does not get better than that. Reaves is one of the key reasons why the Lakers have been better than most people had expected them to be.
It is worth mentioning, though, that Reaves has not been able to score more than 18 points in any of his last three outings. His shooting has been slightly off as well. So, he will be hoping to rediscover his touch against the Magic.
The Lakers will take on the Magic at the Kia Center in Orlando at 7 p.m. ET.
