LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers saw their four-game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday night after falling to the Philadelphia 76ers 118-104. To make matters worse for the Lakers, All-Star Anthony Davis had to leave the game early after suffering an injury.
Los Angeles revealed that Davis underwent an MRI on Wednesday, confirming an abdominal muscle strain. He will be out for the next couple of games and will be re-evaluated next week.
On Thursday, the shorthanded Lakers will look to get back on track as they face the Washington Wizards in the nation's capital. Fortunately for LA, the Wizards are the worst team in the NBA, with a record of 6-40.
But Davis isn't the only player JJ Redick will be without. According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, forward Dorian Finney-Smith and guard Gabe Vincent have both been ruled out.
"Gabe Vincent (knee) and Dorian Finney-Smith (shoulder) are out tonight in WAS, per JJ Redick, McMenamin wrote on X. "'All hands on deck,' Redick said, when asked how he’ll use his bench tonight."

Vincent has been dealing with a left knee contusion , forcing him to miss the previous two games against the Charlotte Hornets and 76ers. The former Miami Heat standout has started to come alive over the past two months, averaging 6.7 and 71. points per game in December and January, respectively, compared to less than 3.5 points per game in October and November.
Finney-Smith, on the other hand, is dealing with a right shoulder injury. He hasn't missed a game since Jan. 17 against his former team, the Brooklyn Nets. The former Flordia Gators forward has been a solid addition to the Lakers following the D'Angelo Russell trade, averaging 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in January.
The Lakers enter the Wizards game with a 26-19 record, good for 5th place in the Western Conference. After Thursday, they will end their six-game road trip with a battle against the New York Knicks on Saturday and the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
