Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic made an appearance weeks after he and the Lakers were eliminated from the playoffs in the first round against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he is showing signs of a successful off-season workout program.

Doncic, while still playing and producing like a top-five player in the NBA, was regularly trolled online for his figure, with many making fun of his weight and appearance.

It seems as if he has taken those comments personally, and while attending a Real Madrid basketball game in Spain, he has appeared to be looking significantly slimmer.

During the regular season, Luka Doncic averaged 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 7.7 assists, all while averaging at least 35 minutes per game.

While much is made about his shape, he still manages to perform at a high level, averaging more than 40 minutes per game during the playoffs.

One of the reasons that Doncic was traded to the Lakers was due to his weight and commitment to being in the best shape, as Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison was reportedly displeased with the Slovenian player's conditioning.

All of this noise has seemingly inspired Doncic to take his conditioning seriously, which should be a terrifying image for opposing Western Conference teams.

Doncic has tended to enjoy his summer vacation, coming into the preseason activities typically out of shape and working himself into NBA conditioning throughout the early portion of the season.

He can still be productive during this period, but usually hits his stride during the middle and latter half of the season.

If Doncic needs some advice about how to better condition himself, he should look no further than his running mate Lebron James, who has taken care of his body better than anyone in NBA history.

Despite playing 20 seasons in the NBA, James still performs at a high level skill-wise and athletically, being one of the only players to hold off Father Time this late in his career.
