The Los Angeles Lakers are set to face the Houston Rockets on Monday night at 10 p.m. ET.

Ahead of their matchup against the Rockets, Lakers beat reporter Jovan Buha of The Athletic, revealed that LeBron James has been upgraded from questionable to available.

James will be playing in the matchup after dealing with a left groin strain, which has been a nagging injury for the Lakers star for quite some time.

The Lakers enter Monday night's game looking to spark a win streak. They're currently sitting at 45-29 on the season, ranked as the No. 4 team in the Western Conference standings.

So far this season, James has averaged 24.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game. At 40 years old, James has continued to show that he's one of the best players in the league, helping position Los Angeles for a deep playoff run.

He's ranked at No. 6 in the NBA in average assists and No. 11 in average points.

The Lakers have eight games remaining on their regular-season schedule.

After a midseason trade for Luka Doncic, it's clear Los Angeles is looking to make a final push to win another championship with James, who's on the latter half of a historic NBA career.
