Lakers star Anthony Davis suffers groin strain in Game 4 vs. Suns

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis suffered a left groin strain during Sunday's Game 4 against the Phoenix suns and did not return.

Davis suffered the injury before halftime while going up for a shot and hitting the floor hard. He finished with six points, four rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes.

Davis was initially listed as questionable for Sunday's game after suffering a knee sprain in L.A.'s Game 3 win.

After beginning the postseason with just 13 points in Game 1 against the Suns, Davis averaged 34 points and 10.5 rebounds in Games 2 and 3 to help the Lakers take a 2-1 series lead.

It's unclear if Davis will miss Game 5. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel will likely have a better update after Sunday's game.
