Lakers vs. Jazz: Is LeBron James Playing Tonight?

LeBron James missed the Los Angeles Lakers' first 14 games due to sciatica, which caused pain on the lower right side of his body. He returned to action on Tuesday, when the Purple and Gold played the Utah Jazz.

In his season debut, James tallied 11 points, 12 assists, three rebounds and one steal, as the Lakers secured the 140-126 victory.

On Sunday, the Lakers return to action against the Jazz once again, albeit this time on the road at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

While James had a four-day rest, fans naturally worry about his status. After all, he's coming off a long spell on the sidelines. Not to mention, the Lakers forward is already 40 years old — turning 41 in December.

Considering how the Lakers often manage James' workload and put him on the injury report with a "probable" designation, many keep asking if he'll play Sunday night.

Is LeBron James Playing Sunday Night?

On the Lakers' official injury report, James is not listed. That means he's available to play in their showdown with the Jazz.

Only second-year guard Bronny James and rookie Adou Thiero are on the injury report, but not because they are dealing with health issues. The two have been ruled out after being assigned to the South Bay Lakers in the G League.

The Lakers are fully healthy based on the injury report. Center Deandre Ayton, who did not practice on Saturday due to a reported illness, appears to be doing well now and should be available for Sunday's showdown.

Los Angeles (11-4) visits Utah (5-10) at 8 p.m. ET Sunday.
