LaMelo Ball continues to amaze.
Ball made one of the flashiest highlights of the year so far Friday night, throwing a dazzling alley-oop to fellow highlight-reel regular Miles Bridges in the third quarter against the Magic.
After nailing an emphatic step-back three, Ball tipped out a pass from Orlando's Cole Anthony intended for Franz Wagner and leaked out with the ball in transition. As the home Charlotte crowd jumped to its feet, Ball looked back at Bridges, who came streaking down the other side of the court.
Just a few feet in from the free-throw line, Ball jumped, weaved the ball through his legs and left it up in the air for Bridges to finish the job by slamming it through the rim.

Ball entered Friday averaging 19.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game. His growth — along with that of Bridges and others — has the Hornets firmly in the playoff picture.
