Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James returned to NBA action in mid-November after missing the first 14 games of the season due to sciatica. In the six games he has played since then, he has averaged 14.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists, while shooting 41.3% from the field.

James has yet to reach the same level of play as last season, but he has still been impactful. In fact, in their win against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, he made the game-winning play happen with his assist to Rui Hachimuradoing so at the expense of his 10-point streak.

The Lakers forward, however, isn't just making an impact on the court. He also continues to help the community with various projects and initiatives.

Most recently, James partnered with Amazon to bring "gifts" and "essentials" to kids and families of the LeBron James Family Foundation. The Lakers star revealed the move on social media, as he showed his appreciation for Amazon for making it possible.

"Bringing something special to my @ljfamfoundation kids and families with @amazon!! THANK YOU for believing in our work and community," James wrote.

For what it's worth, the move with Amazon wasn't the only act of generosity James and his foundation have done recently.

The LeBron James Family Foundation also revealed that the Lakers great gave students of his I Promise School brand new LeBron XXIII "Grand Opening" day shoes.

"Equipping our student athletes with all they need for a successful season full of confidence and belief that they can chase their dreams on and off the court," the foundation wrote, along with photos of the students receiving their sneakers. "Our @ipromiseschool 2025-26 team unboxed their brand new @kingjames XXIII’s “Grand Opening” that signify LeBron’s first game as a Cleveland Cavalier as they get ready for another amazing season."

James has already established himself as one of the greatest players to ever step foot in the NBA, but there's no denying that his impact extends beyond the basketball court.
