At the same time, the league named him Eastern Conference Finals MVP, leading Lakers star LeBron James to congratulate him on his official X account.

Apart from reaching the Finals and winning East MVP, Brown will also receive around $369,000 as bonus for advancing to the championship round. Meanwhile, the Celtics are awaiting the victor between Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks and Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals.

It remains to be seen whether Brown will play at the same level in the NBA Finals. What’s certain, though, is that Boston needs him to do so if they want to win the championship this year.
