LeBron: Cavs exec 'too excited' to see me miss

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-108 on Monday night.

After the game, LeBron James admitted that part of the reason why he played so well in the outing is because a Cavaliers exec who was sitting courtside ticked him off.

What precisely did the exec do? Well, when James missed a jumper at the end of the third quarter, the man in question jumped to his feet and clapped obnoxiously.

The gesture irritated James so much that he went out and scored 21 points in the fourth quarter — finishing with 46 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the day.

Cleveland, as a team, scored 19 points in the fourth quarter.

Not only did James single-handedly dismantle the Cavaliers defense, but he did so in extremely efficient fashion. The Lakers star did his damage on 73 percent shooting from the field and went 7-of-11 from beyond the arc.

In a year jam-packed with him getting threatened by deranged fans and putting Shaquille O’Neal in his place, it’s nice that James can still find the time to immediately own an insufferable exec who made the catastrophic error of getting on his nerves.
