While LeBron James continues to put up great numbers for the Los Angeles Lakers, not everything is going well for him. In fact, he's actually in a cold streak in one area of his game.
The Lakers forward dropped 27 points, five rebounds, 14 assists and two blocks in their 105-104 win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday. James even made history by joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only NBA players ever to reach 15,000 field goals made.
While his performance looked great, however, it doesn't tell the whole story. James went 0-of-9 from the 3-point territory in the contest, extending his streak of 3-point misses to 15.
The last time James made a triple was in the fourth quarter of their Nov. 26 clash with the Phoenix Suns. In their games against the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder, he went 0-of-2 and 0-of-4, respectively, from 3-point land.
James is currently tied with Kyle Korver for the seventh-most triples in league history with 2450 each, though he can't seem to find that shot to claim the spot for himself.
Stat Muse shared James' stats against the Jazz and pointed out the Korver tidbit, sparking a wave of reactions from fans.
While others mocked James for his cold streak, others shared that it's unfair to ridicule that slump. A few also defended him, noting that he's still putting up big numbers despite his poor shooting.

"0-9 and still having 27 point is [expletive] crazy," a fan commented. Another one said, "No reason to post his threes wouldn’t have done that for any other player."
A third supporter shared, "I’m sure you post 3s for any other player here."
"Old man, washed," a online troll wrote. Another critic shared, "0 for 9!" along with a skull emoji.
"0 for 3 games shooting 3s," a commenter pointed out.
A social media user added, "Oh that's why he's taking a [expletive] three even though he's missing."
It remains to be seen if James will be able to break his 3-point shooting slump soon, but he'll have another chance this Monday when they face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
