Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James is 40 years old. He's the oldest active player in the NBA and has been in the league since 2003.

However, you would not have known James was in year 22 by simply watching him play. The four-time MVP averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists in 70 games this season while shooting 51.3 percent from the field, 37.6 percent from beyond the arc and 78.2 percent from the free-throw line.

A four-time Finals MVP, James made the All-NBA Second Team this year. He has made one of the three All-NBA teams 21 times during his legendary career.

After the All-NBA teams were announced, HoopsHype posted on X that James has as many All-NBA selections as Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain combined and one more than Magic Johnson and Larry Bird combined.

Jordan (11) and Chamberlain (10) combined to make 21 All-NBA teams, while Johnson (10) and Bird (10) combined to make 20.

James has made an All-NBA team every season except his rookie year in 2003-04.

The four-time champion has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers (twice), Miami Heat and Lakers.

A future Hall of Famer, James is arguably the best player in NBA history. He has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists and is the leading scorer of all time.

James is the only player in NBA history to rank top five all-time in points and assists.

Entering next season, James is first in NBA history in points, fourth in assists, sixth in steals, fifth in triple-doubles, second in field goals, seventh in 3-pointers, eighth in points per game and third in player-efficiency rating.
