The 2021 NBA All-Star Game starters and reserves were finalized on Tuesday and some of the selections aren't sitting well with players across the league.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was one of the players who voiced their displeasure with the selections. He wasn't happy that Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker did not make the roster and Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard did not make the starting lineup for the Western Conference.
Devin Booker is the most disrespected player in our league!!! Simple as that.— LeBron James (@KingJames) February 24, 2021

Booker was a shocking snub from this year's roster. The 24-year-old is averaging 24.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 50.1% from the field and 38.1% from deep. He ranks 16th in the league in points per game and fourth among shooting guards in field goal percentage.
Lillard's situation is a bit different. He did make the roster, but he was going up against the likes of Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic for a starting spot. Still, the 30-year-old is averaging 29.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and eight assists per game while shooting 44.7% from the floor and 37.9% from deep. He's fourth in the NBA in points per game, which is second among point guards.
Many players are against having the All-Star Game this season due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. James was among several high-profile players to voice his displeasure with the event occurring during the pandemic.
