LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony entered the league together via the 2003 NBA Draft. The superstar trio have been the best of friends through the years. While Wade has retired from the league, James and Melo are currently playing together for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Anyway, today we are not here to talk about where the three are, as of now. Instead, we will be focusing on an event that happened back in 2005. As you might have guessed, our focus is on the King For Kids Bikeathon event hosted by LeBron.

Ever since entering the league, LeBron has been someone who has done a lot for underprivileged kids. This is another thing that the King started back in 2005. In the event, James promotes staying healthy by riding a bicycle.

To reach a wider audience, LBJ got his friends to attend the charity event as well. Like most events where James is present, it was, of course, a success. Even in 2022, looking back at it is something that fans do from time to time.

Instagram page "Hooping Talk" did the honors this time around as it posted these images on its account.

In the images, we can see the trio of LeBron, Carmelo, and Dwyane. Apart from that, Tracy McGrady was also present at the event. Upon seeing that, many fans shared their views about the pictures in the post's comments section.

uninterrupted: "What a throwback ."

Riding bikes is a great way to stay fit, LeBron and co. were promoting that message for kids so they can start living a healthy lifestyle at a young age.

Hopefully, we get to see such events once again soon. As of now, it is not possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Let's hope the situation will be better in the coming months.
