As the NBA postseason narrows down to its final four teams, the action off the court is just as electric. Social media has become a dominant force in professional sports, and riding that wave is the rise of player-hosted podcasts.

One of the most talked-about is Mind the Game, hosted by LeBron James and Steve Nash. The show gained extra attention previously when former co-host JJ Redick stepped away to become the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

On Monday, the official Mind the Game podcast account teased fans with a big announcement:

"A new episode of Mind the Game drops tomorrow morning on our YouTube channel."

The podcast launched its first episode in March 2024, featuring James and Redick. That first episode together drew more than 1.3 million views on YouTube within a single day, a strong indication of the show's popularity.

After Redick took the Lakers' job a few months later, he left the podcast. In March 2025, Steve Nash was introduced as the new co-host alongside LeBron.

LeBron James, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been a dominant presence in the league for over two decades. After seven seasons in Cleveland, he played four years with the Miami Heat, returned to the Cavaliers for another four, and has now spent seven seasons with the Lakers.

Over his legendary career, James has played 1,562 regular-season games, starting all but two. He’s averaged 27 points per game and racked up four NBA titles, earning Finals MVP honors each time. He also has four regular-season MVP awards and has been selected to 21 All-Star Games.

In a historic moment this season, LeBron and his son Bronny became the first father-son duo to appear in an NBA game together.
