Whenever two all-time greats like LeBron James and Kevin Durant cross paths, you know something interesting is bound to come out of it. KD has long been hailed as one of the best players of this generation — but if you ask LeBron, that’s actually selling him short.
During their latest meeting, LeBron didn’t hold back, sharing some strong words about what he really thinks of Durant’s game. And coming from the King himself, it’s high praise — especially when he calls KD one of the most naturally gifted scorers the league has ever seen.
During a recent interview, James heaped praise on his Olympic teammate
"He has not shot under 50% since 2012. In a league that does not talk about efficiency enough... this guy when it comes to three-level scorers, We haven’t had a scorer as equipped in our league as KD… ever."

Kevin Durant’s numbers really do speak for themselves. He’s eighth on the all-time scoring list with over 30,000 points, and his 27.2 points per game put him fourth all-time for guys with at least 500 games under their belt — pretty wild consistency.
He’s the only player in over 50 years of tracked steals and blocks to average 25 points, plus one steal and one block per game over 500 games. Efficiency-wise, he’s elite too — second only to Steph Curry in true shooting percentage among players with 20,000+ points, and he’s the only one to shoot at least 50% from the field and 37% from deep.
Even after his Achilles injury, Durant has had five straight seasons putting up huge numbers with insane efficiency. The numbers don't lie — KD's stats back up LeBron's high praise.
