The Los Angeles Lakers captured their 17th NBA title on Sunday with a 106-93 Game 6 win over the Miami Heat. LeBron James won his fourth NBA championship and fourth NBA Finals MVP Award, which resulted in plenty of emotion for the 35-year-old.
James broke his social media silence on Monday following the Lakers' first championship win since 2010, and posed a question: "Are you not entertained?"
The Lakers' postseason run was historic. They kicked off the playoffs by beating the Portland Trail Blazers in five games, moving on to defeat the Houston Rockets in five games and winning the Western Conference Final against the Denver Nuggets in five games before defeating the Heat in six games.
James' performance was impressive, too.
During the 2019-20 postseason, he averaged 27.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.8 assists on 56% shooting from the field and 37% from three-point range. His epic postseason run included a 40-point night against the Heat in Game 5 of the Finals and a 38-point night against the Nuggets in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.
His performance this season was enough for Lakers head coach Frank Vogel to anoint James the greatest of all time.
