LeBron James once again fuels Lakers exit speculation

LeBron James may have been hinting at his future, or again just stirring the pot. Or maybe he was just making an innocent post on social media. Maybe? Right?

Either way, it caught attention when both he and Anthony Davis posted the same message to Instagram on Tuesday, as noted by Yahoo Sports’ Ricky O’Donnell.

The quote, from entrepreneur and life coach Jay Shetty, read, “Becoming the best version of yourself comes with a lot of goodbyes.”

James’ future with the Lakers has been uncertain since he picked up his $52.6 million player option in late June.

As we know, the Mavericks have been mentioned as a possible destination for James, which could reunite him with former Cleveland teammate Kyrie Irving. If that were to happen, Dallas could quickly vault into the mix of legitimate title contenders.

How it happens, if LeBron wants it to happen, or if he’s thrilled to be staying in LA … well, these are all just things we never know. It’s the LeBron way and all we know for sure is it’s here to stay. At least for this summer.
