LeBron James' offseason will end when he reports to the Los Angeles Lakers' Media Day on Sept. 29, but he still has time to watch the WNBA playoffs until then.

The future Hall of Famer has historically supported the league on social media and in interviews, exemplified by his "CAITLIN CLARK!!!!! HI HATERS" post on August 30, 2024, that got 18.4 million views. He also described the importance of women's sports in a 2017 interview with espnW.

“I just think you give respect where respect is due, at the end of the day. No matter if you’re a male or female,” James said. “If you’re playing at the highest level in your respective sport, you should get respect where respect is due. Over the course of time we’ve seen so many great female athletes — from Serena [Williams] obviously, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Diana Taurasi in the basketball world. I could go on and on about how women have done so many great things."

The four-time NBA champion continued his support by praising Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson on Sunday for winning her fourth WNBA MVP award, via social media.

"4 piece chicken nugget!!!! Congratulations sis!" he said.

Wilson averaged 23.4 points on 50.5 percent shooting (42.4 percent 3-point) with 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.6 steals across 31.2 minutes this season. The 29-year-old won the scoring title, was second in rebounds, and led in blocks per game.

Wilson is the first-ever WNBA player to win four MVP awards.

A'ja Wilson Even Better in Playoffs

Wilson's dominance hasn't stopped with her MVP regular-season campaign. The two-time WNBA champion averaged 29.3 points on 55.4 percent shooting (40 percent 3-point) with 8.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals, and two blocks over 35 minutes against the Seattle Storm in the First Round. Las Vegas won the series 2-1 and will host the Indiana Fever in Game 1 of the WNBA Semifinals on Sunday.

The Aces have the advantage health-wise, as they have a clean injury report. Meanwhile, Clark (groin), guard Sophie Cunningham (knee), guard Sydney Colson (knee), and forward Chloe Bibby (knee) are all out for the season, while forward Damiris Dantas (concussion) will miss Sunday, via ESPN.

However, the Fever have been resilient despite their injury woes, as they finished the regular season 24-20 and beat the Atlanta Dream in the First Round. They escaped with an 87-85 road victory on Thursday to clinch a spot in the Semifinals, led by guard Kelsey Mitchell (24 points), guard Odyssey Sims (16 points, eight assists), and forward Aliyah Boston (14 points, 12 rebounds, six assists).

Sunday's game will start at 3:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
