Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James made history this season when he took the floor with his son on opening night. Selected 55th overall in the 2024 NBA draft, Bronny James joined his father on the Lakers after one season at USC.
Spending time between the NBA and G League in his rookie season, James appeared in 11 regular season games for the South Bay Lakers. The 6-foot-3 rookie averaged 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists in those contests (via G League Stats).
With LeBron and Bronny already teammates in Los Angeles, the James family does not look to be done producing high-level basketball talent.
Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron and Savannah, recently committed to Arizona. The program made his signing official in an Instagram post on Thursday.
"Bryce has officially signed," Arizona Basketball captioned its post.
Having just won a CIF State Division 1 championship with Sierra Canyon, James is preparing for his first collegiate season with the Wildcats. Collaborating with James on Instagram, Arizona's post tallied over 175,000 likes and 900 comments in the first five hours it was posted.
Among those to share a reaction was LeBron James, who reposted the major news on his story.
Bryce James committed to Arizona in January. In his senior season at Sierra Canyon, the 6-foot-4 guard averaged 8.0 points and 4.2 rebounds (via ESPN). Depending on how long the NBA's all-time leading scorer decides to play, and how quickly Bryce James can progress, perhaps the James family will soon have three players in the league.
