After suffering multiple injuries over the last few years, the Swiss maestro decided to hang up his tennis racquet for good, but before that, he wanted to play one last game.

Participating in the Laver Cup, the 41-year-old played his last game of professional tennis in a doubles match with his longtime rival and good friend Rafael Nadal by his side. Although 'Fed-al' ended up losing the game, they ended up winning hearts with multiple iconic moments. After the game, both the legends were spotted crying, sitting beside each other, perhaps one of the most emotional moments in sports history.

In a recent Instagram story, LBJ reposted this viral clip with a caption:

"So AMAZING man!! Damn man"

LeBron was understandably moved by the moment of the two legends crying. Given that the duo were eternal rivals and ended up becoming great friends off the court speaks volumes about their relationship as players. Federer, meanwhile, started a new chapter of his career after playing 24 years of professional tennis.

LBJ might find himself in a similar position after a couple of seasons. Although he is still among the elite, father time is inevitable, and despite being a machine, James, like other greats, will hang up his boots sooner or later.
