LeBron James says his current self would 'dominate' 27-year-old version

LeBron James helped lift the Los Angeles Lakers to the franchise's 17th NBA title on Sunday with a 106-93 win over the Miami Heat in Game 6. The superstar also snagged his fourth NBA Finals MVP award.

With his fourth title win, James was asked to compare the current 35-year-old version of himself to the 27-year-old version that won his first title with the Miami Heat. While he gave a little advice to his younger self, he also revealed at 35-years-old, he'd "dominate" the younger version of himself.

During this year's postseason, James averaged 27.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game in the Orlando bubble while shooting 56% from the field and 37% from three-point range.

It's not surprising that he thinks the current version of himself would out-duel the younger version, especially because he currently has far more experience than he did when he was younger.

James won his first title in 2012 with the Heat, averaging 30.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. While his scoring was better as a 27-year-old, he's arguably a better all-around player in 2020.
