The Cleveland Cavaliers secured a dominant 124-105 victory over the New York Knicks on Wednesday night, marking their 61st win of the season. This milestone makes them just the third team in franchise history to reach 61 wins, a feat last accomplished by the LeBron James-led 2009-10 squad. With six games left, the team will have a chance to surpass the franchise record of 66 wins set by the 2008-09 Cavs.

Donovan Mitchell paced Cleveland with 27 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley combined for 51 points in the statement victory.

While the team had an all-round performance, one highlight-reel play from Allen stole the show. In the fourth quarter, Allen snagged a steal and sprinted downcourt, finishing with an emphatic one-handed dunk.

After the game, Allen humorously admitted he was trying to emulate LeBron James on the play.

"I wanted to look like LeBron," Allen told reporters.

Allen’s comments quickly went viral, drawing a hilarious response from James himself. The Lakers superstar took to Instagram, reposting Allen’s quote with a playful caption:

"You got it next time, J.A."

James followed up with more praise, adding, "Love this dude!!!! GREAT ENERGY AND SPIRIT."

Allen had a stellar all-around game, finishing with 21 points, eight rebounds, a block, and a steal while shooting an efficient 10-of-11 from the field in 32 minutes.

With the top seed in the Eastern Conference almost certainly secured, Cleveland now shifts its focus to the playoffs, aiming to capture their second NBA title in franchise history.
