With LeBron James turning 41, it is evident that there might not be many years left in him. But as he readies to hang up his boots in a few years’ time, the Los Angeles Lakers’ legend is making sure that his legacy in the NBA does not fizzle out. Already, Bronny James is making ripples in the basketball world. Playing together with his father for the Lakers last year, the duo created history.
This year too, Bronny’s success graph has been quite remarkable. Only recently, the Cleveland crowd was stunned by Bronny James’ fastbreak throwdown. Thus, looking at his son’s progress, the 4-time NBA champion seemed pretty happy with how things were panning out.
“The kid’s been putting in a lot of work over the last couple years being a pro and when he gets an opportunity, he’s trying to make the most of it,” said James.

Apart from playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, Bronny also dons the South Bay Lakers’ colors in the G League. And as per the early 2025-26 data, the 21-year-old star has been averaging 20.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in a span of 14 plus games. Meanwhile, owing to his excellent learning curve, Bronny recently got NBA All-Star votes.
While most fans expected Bronny James to become a frequent name in the Los Angeles Lakers’ roster, things did not turn out as planned. Following his poor showing, the 21-year-old was shifted to the G League to up his game. Thankfully, with some incredible performances there, Bronny came back strongly into the discussion.
