The Los Angeles Lakers currently have the only father-son duo in NBA history, with star forward LeBron James and rookie Bronny James.

LeBron James turned 40 just a few days ago and Bronny James is starting to embark on his NBA journey, mostly getting reps in the G-League with the South Bay Lakers.

As those two NBA figures maneuver through the 2024-25 season, a younger member of the family announced his career plans.

Bryce James, the younger brother of Bronny James and youngest son of LeBron James committed to the University of Arizona amid his senior season at Sierra Canyon high school.

Bryce James is listed as a three-star prospect out of Chatsworth, California. He's ranked as the No. 46 shooting guard and No. 257 overall player in the class of 2025, per 247Sports

During his recruitment process, Bryce James received three offers, Arizona, Ohio State and Duquesne.

According to the director of recruiting for high school basketball at 247Sports, Adam Finkelstein, Bronny James is still a raw prospect.

Finkelstein explained that he's a smooth scorer with a soft touch and compact release, but he's not a dynamic athlete or playmaker.

"Bryce needs to be given time and space to run his own race though," Finkelstein said. "He may not be the dynamic athlete or playmaker some expect at first, but he is a fundamentally sound player with solid perimeter size and a good early skill-set. He possesses clear shooting potential with naturally soft touch, compact release, and the ability to make both threes and pull-ups. His left hand is advanced for his age and he also has a good early understanding of the game. Physically, he has a solid build for an underclassman, but is still just growing into his body a bit and so far from a finished product.
