LeBron James' son Bryce unhappy over Lakers trading Russell Westbrook
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Bryce James' recent Instagram story proves that he is super unhappy after Russell Westbrook got traded to the Jazz.

Playing for the Los Angeles Lakers is a dream come true for most NBA players. After all, who doesn't love being a star for one of the biggest franchises in the league? But wearing the iconic Purple and Gold jersey comes with its own set of cons as well.

The 2016-17 NBA MVP, Russell Westbrook, learned that the hard way. He became a part of the Purple and Gold last season, but Russ could never truly adjust to his new team. Even after coming off the bench for the majority of the 2022-23 NBA season.

Following months of rumors around Westbrook's future, he was finally included in a three-team trade with the Utah Jazz and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Brodie's new home is now the Jazz, but there is no guarantee for how long he will remain a part of the team.

LeBron James' Son Bryce James Reacts To The Russell Westbrook Trade

In the last few months, the relationship between Russell Westbrook and LeBron James wasn't really well. There was obvious tension between the two. But that doesn't mean LeBron can change his sons' favorite players.

Bronny James previously admitted that he wears No. 0 because of Russell Westbrook. Apart from Bronny, it seems like James' younger son, Bryce, is also a fan of Russ. After learning about the fact that the Los Angeles Lakers traded Russ to the Utah Jazz, Bryce had a one-word reaction to the news.

Upon seeing this post, fans couldn't stop themselves from feeling sad about Bryce. After all, he is still just a kid, and seeing his favorite player leave the team must have been hard.

Most fans understood that Bryce is sad about his favorite player leaving the team. On top of that, Westbrook certainly deserves better than playing for the Utah Jazz, which are currently in the rebuilding phase. On the other hand, a few fans thought that Bryce was simply referring to the edit of Russ in a Jazz jersey as "L."
