Without a doubt, LeBron James’ NBA career is made from the stuff of legends. But according to one insane stat, the Los Angeles Lakers star’s longevity in the league won’t be replicated by anyone in the foreseeable future.
James first entered the NBA as the Cleveland Cavaliers number one pick in the 2003 Draft , along with future Hall of Famers Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh. At this point in time, Michael Jordan retired for the last time after spending two years playing for the Washington Wizards.
With Jordan gone, James slowly proved his case to be the next face of the NBA. But after he was unable to win a ring in Cleveland, the All-Star forward signed up with the Miami Heat to play along with Wade and Bosh. Their time together produced two championships, the first pair won by James.
He then added another two – one with the Cavs and the most recent ring with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020. All throughout that time, James consistently played at a high level and proved to be skillful enough to do a lot of things on the court, such as play center, shoot from beyond the arc, and run his team’s offense. Needles to say, his career is one most NBA players won’t be able to come close to.
Just recently, James was named to this season’s All-NBA Third Team along with Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry. In response, StatMamba posted an insane stat that highlights the Lakers forward’s career in the league:

All in all, James has 20 All-NBA selections throughout his career. The King has 13 First Team selections, three Second Team, and Four Third Team, including the most recent one this year.
Apart from becoming the league’s all-time leading scorer, his collection of All-NBA honors has made his resume much more formidable. Hopefully, he plays another year or two to make his career unreachable and untouchable.
