Speaking on the Antetokounmpo situation, NBA insider Marc Spears pointed out that any team opting for Antetokounmpo’s services must have a roster worthy of winning the championship.

“Two of the GMs told me that if you’re gonna trade for Giannis and give up one of those coveted picks, you better know that over the next 4 to 5 years you’re gonna be having a team with him to compete for a championship, or it’s gonna be a moot point,” Spears said.
